Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our billing terms, cancellation process, and refund conditions by subscription tier.

1. Summary

  • Monthly tier fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.
  • All three tiers are subject to a three-month minimum term obligation. Cancellation before the minimum term completes triggers the remaining-month liability described in Sections 3, 4, and 5.
  • Annual prepayments are non-refundable except as expressly described in Section 6.
  • Pass-through ad spend is non-refundable if already deployed; unused balance is refundable.
  • Clients may cancel anytime (subject to the three-month minimum term) with thirty (30) days' notice.

The detail follows. The Client Service Agreement controls in the event of any conflict with this Policy.

2. How to Cancel

Email alex@jaccollectiveco.com from the email address on your account with the subject line: "Cancellation — [Client Legal Name]"

Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle plus thirty (30) days, except where a minimum term applies. We will confirm receipt within one (1) business day and will process the cancellation per this policy.

3. The Growth — Three-Month Minimum

  • Three-month minimum commitment at sign-up. After the minimum term completes, the subscription converts to month-to-month with thirty (30) days notice required for cancellation.
  • Cancel with thirty (30) days' written notice via email.
  • The current month's fee is not refunded.
  • Services continue through the end of the notice period.

4. The Revival — 3-Month Minimum Term

  • Three (3) month minimum term from the service start date.
  • After the minimum term, month-to-month with thirty (30) days' written notice to cancel.
  • If you cancel before completing the minimum term, the remaining months are due at the contracted rate.
  • White-label app build and integration work commences within forty-eight (48) hours of signing; the three-month minimum term obligation begins on the service start date and is not reducible after work has commenced.
  • Services continue through the end of the paid period.

5. The Kingdom — 3-Month Minimum Term

The same minimum term and cancellation mechanics as The Revival (Section 4) apply to The Kingdom. Both tiers share the three-month minimum term and thirty (30) day written notice requirements once the minimum term completes.

6. Annual Prepay

If you elected annual prepayment:

  • The discount you received was conditioned on the full annual commitment.
  • We refund only on a pro-rata basis for unused full months, and only when cancellation is for material uncured breach by JAC under the Client Service Agreement.
  • Cancellation for convenience does not entitle you to a refund of the unused annual prepay.
  • The original discount you received is not reversed against unused months; we refund unused full months at the post-discount monthly equivalent.

7. Failure to Perform by JAC

If JAC Collective materially fails to perform a covered deliverable (for example, missed clip delivery cadence over a full month without legitimate cause), and we do not cure within fifteen (15) days of written notice from you:

  • You may terminate under the applicable section of the Client Service Agreement.
  • We will refund the pro-rata portion of the current month's fee corresponding to the period of non-performance.
  • Annual prepay refund will be calculated per Section 6 above.

We will offer credit or re-performance as a first option, but you may elect a cash refund where the failure was material and uncured.

8. Ad Spend

  • Ad spend that has been deployed to ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, etc.) is not refundable from JAC Collective. The platforms have their own refund policies, which we will help you navigate as a courtesy.
  • Bundled monthly ad allocation (included in The Growth) that has not been deployed by month-end is forfeited and not refunded or rolled over.
  • Pass-through ad spend you funded to JAC's account but that has not yet been deployed is refundable on cancellation, net of any platform processing fees.

9. App Store & Third-Party Fees

App Store and Google Play developer fees, Apple In-App Purchase fees, Stripe processing fees, Twilio carrier fees, and similar third-party platform fees are non-refundable from JAC Collective. We pass these through at cost.

10. Refund Mechanics

  • Refunds, where owed, are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within fourteen (14) business days of the cancellation effective date.
  • For ACH or wire payments, refunds are issued by the same method.

11. Disputes

If you dispute a charge on your statement, please contact us first at alex@jaccollectiveco.com. We will respond within two (2) business days. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without first attempting to resolve with us may result in account termination for the duration of the dispute and could affect your eligibility for future services.

12. Updates

We may update this Policy. Updates apply prospectively. Active subscriptions remain governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of their last contract execution, unless they explicitly accept the updated version.
